(1) The bureau may secretly operate a formula for obtaining information about crime or collecting information that will assist in the investigation of crime.
(2) For the purpose of sub-rule (1), ordinary people, ex-criminals, natives or foreigners involved in various professions can be mobilized as formula.
(3) The formula according to sub-rule (1), his appointment and the details regarding the operation of the formula shall be confidential.
(4) In order to carry out the work related to the appointment, mobilization and dismissal of the formulas as per sub-rule (1), the Bureau shall have the formula mobilization committee as follows:-
(a) Director – Chairman (b) Senior Superintendent of Police serving in the Bureau - Member
(c) Senior Superintendent of Police working in the Bureau - Member - Secretary
(5) The formula operation committee according to sub-rule (4) shall determine the procedures related to the appointment, operation and dismissal of the formula itself.
